Plan your day. Take time to think about what needs to be done and plan your day the night before or in the morning. Whatever works for you.
Leave some space around the edges. This allows you to handle the unexpected. If everything goes to plan you'll have time free to do something spontaneous or to take time out.
Prioritise
Do the things with a high priority first
Keep a success journal - encourage yourself - update every night or morning.
Exercise 3 times a week. You'll feel better for it - choose something you actually enjoy. It could be something as simple as taking a half hour walk.
Get 8 hours sleep each night. I make sure I get at least one early night a week and wind down in the last hour before going to bed. If I work right up to bedtime I'm too 'wired' to sleep easily.
Be still and meditate for at least 15 minutes a day. You'll be amazed what a difference this makes.
Plan in time for yourself each week. You're important too.
Leave things tidy and organised at the end of each day. Mess and clutter drain your energy. Give yourself the best possible start to the day.
